Infant Rooms.  These classrooms are set up to be warm, homelike, infant-only environments. We provide your infant with a safe learning environment that enables your baby to explore and learn at their individual pace.  Caregivers for this age group have been chose based on the experience, education and their ability to nurture and love our babies.

We work closely with our parents to ensure that their infant has a unique and diverse experience tailored to their own schedule.  Caregivers plan a curriculum that is focused on each infant’s developmental stage.  In addition, your infant will experience story time, music, beginning sign language and sensory activities.

We contract with a Public Health Nurse.  She comes in every month and spends time in each infant classroom to observe and monitor each infant’s progress.  She gives us the most up-to-date health information from Public Health and ensures that our classrooms meet safety and health regulations.  She is always available to staff and parents for questions and concerns.

Waddler/Toddler Rooms.  These are busy fast-paced rooms with a warm and home-like environment.  These classrooms are designed to encourage your child to explore and experience life through stimulating activities and beginning Montessori materials.

In our Toddler classrooms your child is now taking part in a more structured day.  This includes circle time, family style meals, outside experiences, music, story reading time, art and sensory activities.  All of our teachers have all taken part in adult/child/infant CPR, BBP and First Aid training, as well as annual Washington State STARS training.

Preschool Program is a transition between our Toddler and Pre Kindergarten programs.  In this environment your child will learn to be more independent, work in a larger group and conquer potty training.  Your child will participate in individual work time where they will discover and learn various skills using the Montessori materials, and introduction into phonetics and numbers. Sensory and art activities will also be offered throughout the day to keep your little one busy.  Basic self help skills are the focus of this classroom, preparing your child for the more advanced, Pre Kindergarten program.

Each day, you will receive an evaluation of your child so that you are kept updated on how and what they did that day, how much they ate, and what their mood was like.  Also, often you child will be taking with them “home work” of some art work or curriculum about what we worked on during the day, so that you can repeat it with them at home.
