Welcome to Northlake Montessori Kindergarten Class
Ms Michelle

Hello Everyone:

My name is Michelle Hatten.  I am very excited to be your child’s Kindergarten teacher.  I have been teaching at Northlake Montessori since 2005.  I received my Montessori training in 2006 and this is my fourth year as a Kindergarten teacher.  I love working with this age group because they learn so much in a short amount of time.  This is where true learning really begins.  I love teaching Kindergarten at Northlake because I have the opportunity of watching the children grow up from our infant to Kindergarten program.  Many of my previous preschool and Kindergarten students come back to visit me from public school and I can see the progress that they have made.  It makes me feel wonderful to know that I helped create their foundation for learning.

My family consists of me and my daughter Livy, who is 10 years old.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends, exercising, watching movies and playing with my daughter.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your child’s teacher and I look forward to working with you and your child throughout the school year.  Please feel welcome to contact me with any questions or concerns that you may have.

Michelle Hatten
